My dad meant the world to us all. He was a fantastic father and grandfather to my son. He was the eternal joker, but his dry sense of humour could sometimes be an aquired taste! He was a brilliant mural artist who gave many children happy memories by painting nursery walls etc with all their favorite cartoon characters. He absolutely loved doing this and we were all so proud of him.
My dad passed away suddenly and totally unexpectedly on Thursday 25 July 2002. He was dead before i could even make it to the hospital. He died from heart failiure, but luckily for him the only pain he felt day was slight tightness in his chest. He died exactly the way he would have wanted to go, quickly and with no fuss.
I adored my dad and am still trying to come to terms with him not being here anymore, the hardest thing for me is that he never got to meet my youngest son, although sometimes I think he is with him when he does really naughty things!

The last time I saw you,
